WALKS
Although a city, Derby still has the feel of a large market town and with plenty of open space, wonderful parks and walks to enjoy. The River Derwent runs through the centre of the city providing several fascinating riverside walks.
Derby has been described as a ‘city in the countryside.’ It is a great place to go for walk, with so much to see. Both around the historic city centre and along the riverbank as well as in the neighbouring countryside.
Many more walks will be added in the future to this site as we explore the city and its environs. This includes a series of short walks and trails for those who prefer the shorter option.
